The 2013 Hudson Valley Apple Festival will be held on the first weekend of Autumn in Germantown, New York..
On September 21, 2013, prepare for a day of old fashioned family fun including a Hayride, Wacky Apple Crate Derby, Wine and Craft Brew Tasting, Arts & Crafts Festival, Apple Baking Contest, Fireworks, Children's Activities, Food and FREE Entertainment at Palatine Park on Germantown’s Beautiful Palatine Park Road.
Please leave your pets comfortably at home, the events may be too much for those members of your family.
9 am Gates open. Admission is $4 for those 14 and older. Admission includes fireworks, children's activities, family hayride, haybale maze, apple crate derby, live music, car show and much more. No dogs please.
9 - 11 am Apple pancake Breakfast served at the activity building
9 - 6 pm Craft, Food and Spirits Vendors open for business
9 - 6 pm Haybale Maze, Children's games, Face Painting
9 - 7:30 pm Live music performed by Anthony Michael, a saxophone-playing one-man band
9 - 11 am Wacky Apple Crate Derby Registration
11:30 am Mandatory Safety Meeting for Derby Drivers
11:30 am Baking Contest Entries are submitted at the Activity Building
12:00 pm Judging of Baking Contest and Winners announced
1- 5 pm Family Hayride through the park
2 pm Wacky Apple Crate Derby Race Begins on Palatine Park Road
10 - 4 pm Classic Car Show by the Columbia Car Club
5 - 6 pm Live Bluegrass music performed by Big Valley Blue Grass Band
6 - 7 pm Live Music by Award Winning Indie Music Musician Bridgette Guerrette
